Mixed Tax Senior - Music & Entertainment Clients

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Tax Senior to join our newly established Tax Team
, supporting a highly regarded business management firm that specialises in the music and entertainment industry
. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside the Senior Tax Manager to help build and centralise the firm's tax function
, creating a dedicated internal tax capability to support both the business management and accounts teams. The role offers a unique blend of firmwide tax support and hands‑on client portfolio responsibility
, providing broad exposure across multiple taxes and complex, high‑profile clients.
- Providing payroll and VAT support to business management teams
- Supporting compliance with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements, including implementation of effective systems
- Acting as a central point of contact for internal tax queries
- Supporting tax compliance across personal tax, corporation tax, partnership tax, and VAT
- Responding to HMRC enquiries
, correspondence, and compliance matters - Assisting with quarterly reporting requirements and ensuring deadlines are met
- Preparation and submission of Self‑Assessment tax returns
- Preparation of Corporation Tax and Partnership Tax returns
- Preparation and review of VAT returns and MTD submissions
- Computing Capital Gains Tax liabilities
, including UK residential property disposals and real‑time reporting - Providing ongoing compliance and tax planning support
- Ensuring all client tax affairs are managed accurately and on time
- Identifying issues and opportunities to add value to clients
- Musicians and performers
- Producers and creatives

- Property‑owning structures
- Has at least three years’ experience in a dedicated tax role
- Has strong mixed tax compliance experience
- Is confident preparing personal tax, corporate tax, partnership tax, and VAT returns
- Has experience responding to HMRC enquiries
- Is comfortable managing their own workload and client portfolio
- Enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues across a firm
- ACA qualified
- ACCA qualified
- ATT qualified
- CTA qualified or part qualified
- Or equivalent experience
