Senior Vice President – Fund Controller | Fund CFO | Evergreen

A global alternative investment platform is launching a new semi-liquid private credit strategy and is appointing a senior fund finance leader to act as the Fund CFO for the vehicle
.

This is a foundational role with end-to-end accountability for fund finance, liquidity, governance, and operational design. You will work in close partnership with the Deal Team, Product, IR, Client Solutions, and senior management to build a best-in-class evergreen fund operating model from first close onward.

As Vice President – Fund CFO, you will take responsibility for the financial integrity, scalability, and day-to-day control of a semi‑liquid credit fund operating within a regulated European framework.

You will act as the central point of coordination across the platform
, ensuring institutional standards across reporting, liquidity, leverage, valuation, and investor‑facing outputs.

• Full oversight of NAV production, valuation governance, and financial reporting
• Ownership of fund control, investment restriction monitoring, and regulatory compliance
• Design and oversight of liquidity management frameworks (subscriptions, redemptions, gating, distributions)
• Forecasting and recognition of management and performance fees
• Model, monitor, and optimise leverage facilities and financing structures
• Oversee cash management, FX exposure, and hedging strategy
• Monitor performance metrics, liquidity buffers, and gross‑to‑net outcome

• Act as financial partner to Portfolio Managers, Deal Teams, Product, and Client Solutions
• Produce and present MI packs for senior leadership, oversight committees, and external stakeholders
• Support complex investor and distributor queries with high‑quality financial insight

• Lead fund setup, day‑one readiness, and ongoing operational optimisation
• Drive automation, data integrity, and scalable reporting infrastructure
• Establish “gold standard” fund finance processes capable of supporting future growth

• Strong experience in fund finance, fund control, or investment operations within private markets
• Proven ownership of valuation, NAV oversight, and financial governance
• Advanced Excel skills; confident producing senior‑level MI and analysis

• Experience with semi‑liquid, evergreen, or regulated European fund structures, ELTIF
• Exposure to leverage facilities, liquidity management, and performance fee mechanics
• Background in private credit, private equity, or alternative asset management
• International fund experience (e.g. Luxembourg or multi‑jurisdictional structures)

• True ownership mindset; comfortable acting as the “financial conscience” of a strategy
• Commercial, pragmatic, and solutions‑oriented
