Pinnacle Group are looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join our Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Group Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information, managing audit processes across multiple entities and preparing year‑end financial statements for filing.

Who We’re Looking For

Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Managing audit queries and deliverables for audit planning, interim audit, group audit, and the year‑end financial statements audit.
  • Preparing financial statements for 28+ single entities and assisting with group consolidations using Case Ware (experience highly desirable).
  • Reviewing Group structure and investments and assessing potential impairments.
  • Reviewing goodwill for impairment considerations.
  • Ensuring timely filing of signed accounts at Companies House.
  • Identifying new leases and maintaining the full lease database (vehicles, property, investment property, equipment) under IFRS 16.
  • Working with Operations, Legal and Data Analytics on new contracts under IFRS 15, completing the 5‑step revenue recognition assessment and documenting invoicing processes.
  • Calculating provisions for intercompany year‑end balances under IFRS 9.
  • Preparing year‑end tax analysis including legal fees, capex and disallowable items, and responding to follow‑up queries.
  • Calculating intercompany interest charges and interest income.
  • Supporting additional ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Key Requirements
  • Qualified or finalist accountant (ACA or ACCA).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Extensive audit experience with confidence in managing auditors and audit processes.
  • Experience with IFRS (including IFRS 9, 15 and 16).
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office.
  • Experience with Case Ware is highly desirable.
