You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Group’s lease accounting, in compliance with IFRS and or local GAAP.
  • Managing fixed asset registers and depreciation by asset class.
  • Intangible asset accounting at entity or consolidation level.
  • Supporting Goodwill and investment impairment assessments.
  • Management of intercompany, ensuring group wide reconciliation each month end, including working with the tax team to support FX or intercompany initiatives.
  • Reconciliation of Payroll to GL for UK and Europe principally, working closely with HR and Payroll as and when needed.
  • Maintaining elements of chart of accounts where appropriate.
  • Understanding FX impacts on areas of responsibility and able to articulate verbally or in writing.
  • Providing explanations on a monthly or quarterly basis in connection with management reporting.
  • Supporting the external audits.
  • Supporting the group team on ad hoc responsibilities.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Professional accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, (or equivalent) qualification.
  • GCSE Maths and English, grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of professional accounting standards.
  • Strong knowledge of transactional accounting and close processes. Strong knowledge of IT systems.
  • Experience of month end close processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous approach to problem solving.
