I’m currently partnering with a high‑growth, PE‑backed professional services firm that is expanding its indirect tax offering and seeking a VAT Manager to join their dynamic team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to step into (or further develop within) a pure VAT advisory role within a business that genuinely rewards performance and offers rapid progression.

This firm has been scaling quickly due to sustained investment and strong market demand, and they are now looking for a VAT Manager who can support their advisory practice—particularly across the medical and real estate sectors.

The role is advisory-only with no compliance portfolio. That said, the firm is very open to candidates currently in VAT compliance roles who want to transition into advisory, and they provide full training and mentoring to enable that switch.

• Deliver VAT advisory services to clients across the across a portfolio of clients in different industries
• Lead complex engagements and provide commercially focused technical guidance
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
• Contribute to the continued growth of the VAT practice within a PE‑backed, fast‑scaling environment
• Support and mentor junior team members as you progress

• Experience in VAT (either advisory or compliance) gained in practice or in‑house
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
• Desire to move into advisory if currently in a compliance position
• Professional qualifications (CTA/ACA/ATT) are helpful but not required

• Fast‑track progression to Senior Manager for strong performers
