Leading Hedge Fund - Fund Accountant Hybrid

Autumnal Partners are partnered with a leading Credit Hedge Fund based in the West End who are searching for an outstanding a qualified chartered accountant to join their fund finance team.

The role will require the successful candidate to lead and manage the front-to-back fund accounting processes for the Leveraged Credit and Structured Credit business lines, including:

• Production of daily P&L and investigation of any discrepancies
• Work with the Administrator and internal team to produce NAVs
• FX hedging
• Liaise with Portfolio Managers on valuations and prepare agendas for valuation committees
• Oversee distributions of accrued income to investors
• Run the year-end audit with assistance from other senior members of the team
• Periodic investor reporting

Applicants must have strong academic profiles and be qualified accountants with ideally 3-5 years experience in fund accounting. The client will also consider candidates with similar academic profiles from third party administrators or product control functions in banks. Direct experience of credit products is helpful but not a must.
