Equities Research Analyst - Emerging Market
Investment Management
London, Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join a Global Market Equities team focused on actively managed emerging market equity strategies. The team follows a long‑term, value‑driven investment philosophy, leveraging bottom‑up fundamental research to uncover companies whose future returns are not fully reflected in market prices.

The right candidate will be a collaborative thinker with a deep understanding of consumer trends across emerging markets, the confidence to make independent stock recommendations, and hands‑on experience with sustainability and ESG practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain detailed coverage of major companies within your sectors.
  • Strengthen the team’s research and analytical capabilities to support investment decisions, including in‑depth company analysis and valuation modelling to identify potential opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including investment specialists, operations, sector equity analysts, and the sustainability function, to ensure alignment and insight sharing.
  • Support and continuously improve governance and control processes to maintain high‑quality outcomes and mitigate operational risk.
Key Knowledge,

Skills & Experience:
  • Significant experience in Emerging Markets equities: ideally covering telecoms, financials, telecoms, utilities, Transport, Energy & Natural Resources, Social Infrastructure, or similar
  • Strong skills in valuation modelling with a methodical, disciplined approach.
  • Confident and decisive as an investor, able to make and defend recommendations.
  • Hands‑on experience with sustainability and ESG integration in investment decisions.
  • Team‑oriented, collaborative, and committed to robust processes.
  • Experience in trading, portfolio management, or client engagement is advantageous
