Role OverviewReporting to the Director, Transactions, the successful candidate will be a member of the company’s Transactions Team and will support the team in the acquisition and divestment of individual assets or portfolios, as well as the deployment of development capital across European markets. This role involves close collaboration and consistent communication with other members of the Transactions Team, the Portfolio Management, Finance and Legal teams as well as the Regional Asset Management teams.
MainResponsibilities
- Supporting the Transactions Team to review, underwrite, conduct due diligence and execute new acquisition, development and disposition projects
- Coordinating with the Regional Asset Management, Legal and Finance teams to form and support an opinion and recommendation on transaction projects
- Developing and preparing detailed financial models in Excel to evaluate prospective real estate investments
- Performing detailed market research on supply/demand fundamentals, sales and rent comparables, macro trends, etc. by compiling and summarizing data and market research reports
- Preparing investment committee memoranda and presentation materials
- Assisting in the execution and day‑to‑day management, tracking and reporting of transactions with the support of in‑house teams as well as external advisors
- Developing and cultivating relationships with all stakeholders, advisors and market participants
- Prior experience in the real estate sector (investment, valuation, financing, or other financial function), private equity or financial analysis with a keen interest in real‑estate sector
- Master’s degree, preferably in finance or real estate (CFA or RICS qualification a plus)
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling with very strong analytical / numeracy skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills with high proficiency in Power Point
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrate maturity, reliability and attentiveness to detail
- The successful candidate will have the skills to progress in a fast‑paced and demanding environment. They will be entrepreneurial, hardworking, proactive, and results and team oriented
- Candidate must be fluent in English, additional European languages a plus
