Senior Distressed Investment Professional - Director​/Managing Director

We are advising a top-performing credit fund on the appointment of a Distressed & Special Situations Investment Professional to join its London-based team.

The fund has built an exceptional track record within distressed and special situations investing and continues to scale following several years of strong performance, AUM growth, and strategic expansion.

This hire will play a key role in the origination, analysis, and execution of distressed debt and special situations investments across both public and private markets.

The successful candidate will be actively involved in sourcing and executing complex transactions, including:

• Distressed and special situations investments across capital structures
• Complex restructurings and turnaround situations
• Control investments and debtor-in-possession financings
• Hybrid and deep value-oriented strategies

A core element of the role will be proactive origination, leveraging an established network of restructuring advisers, bank desks, insolvency practitioners, legal advisers, and other market participants.

The individual will be expected to present well-developed, high-conviction investment ideas to senior members of the investment team and at Investment Committee level.

• Director-level (or above) experience within a distressed or special situations investment fund
• Alternatively, relevant experience within an opportunistic credit fund or special situations private equity platform
• Demonstrable track record of deploying capital in complex, event-driven situations
