Accounts Payable Clerk, Banking , London, Hybrid up to £50k

A growing Bank are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to help take ownership of the accounts payable function as well as month end tasks.

This is a great role as you will get involved with a broad range of activity within the firm and work within a very close knit team. They are looking for someone who has done a similar role and has worked within financial services to join their team.

They are looking to offer the successful candidate up to £50,000.

Main Duties:
  • Responsible for the accounts payable process ensuring that all the invoices posted are recorded accurately
  • Process cash receipts in the lending system
  • Reconciliation of purchase ledger
  • Reviewing and reconciliation of certain accounts including expenses and social accounts
  • Supporting with the implementation of a new AP automation software
  • Maintenance and oversight of fixed asset register
  • Ownership of accruals and prepayments
Person Specification:
  • Experience working within the Financial Services is needed
  • Experience with Month end is key
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central would be desirable
