ETF Quant Trader

A global trading firm is seeking an ETF Trader to manage trading and liquidity provision across equity and fixed income ETFs. The role focuses on pricing, execution, and relative value opportunities between ETFs and underlying instruments within a fast-paced, technology-driven trading environment.

• Trade ETFs across primary and secondary markets.
• Identify and execute arbitrage opportunities between ETFs, futures, and underlying baskets.
• Manage inventory, risk exposure, and intraday positioning.
• Monitor market flows, liquidity conditions, and pricing dislocations.
• Work closely with quants and developers to improve trading tools and execution efficiency.
• Support ETF creation/redemption processes and basket pricing.

• Experience trading ETFs, equities, or index products in a front‑office environment.
• Strong understanding of market microstructure and electronic execution.
• Knowledge of ETF pricing mechanics and hedging instruments (futures, swaps, baskets).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Programming or scripting ability (Python preferred) is beneficial.

• Market making or proprietary trading background.
• Experience with systematic or semi‑systematic trading workflows.
• Familiarity with risk models and portfolio hedging techniques.
• Exposure to multi‑asset trading environments.
