Head of Finance - PART TIME

This role will lead financial operations, support the executive team on an ad hoc project basis and in guiding company strategy, and support future fundraising. This role is based in London and is ideal for a finance professional looking to make a significant impact in a part-time capacity.

This opportunity is with a small company operating in the Beauty sector globally.

• Manage debtors and oversee cash flow.
• Ensure accurate product costing to support pricing decisions.
• Support management with pricing analysis.
• Produce monthly KPI reports.
• Prepare stock sheets, accruals, and prepayment schedules for month‑end.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventory systems, including third‑party stock.
• Oversee invoice finance and inventory facility reporting.
• Handle licensor royalty reporting.
• Complete and file VAT returns.
• Manage payroll.
• Maintain systems that deliver timely, clear management reports.
• Recommend actions to improve profitability.
• Update insurers on required coverage changes.
• Liaise with head office and external advisors as needed.

• Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
• Strong experience in financial management within the retail / consumer industry.
• Prior experience working in a fractional or part time role.
• Experience working in a small company hands on environment.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Highly proficient in Excel, experience with Xero.

• Competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £110,000 full time equivalent (will be pro‑ra for part time).
