JOB DESCRIPTION JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a dynamic, quick‑thinking self‑starter with a real passion for the financial markets, exceptional interpersonal skills and an interest in a career in sales within our EMEA Liquidity Solutions Sales Team (UK Corporates) as a Vice President. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills who has the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and help successfully increase the sale of liquidity products by connecting with UK corporates & insurance companies.

IMPACT

As part of Liquidity Solutions, the EMEA Liquidity Solutions Channel delivers comprehensive liquidity offerings to treasury teams at corporations, hedge funds, private equity, VCs and public institutions of all sizes. In this role, you are part of a team dedicated to increasing the sales and distribution of GSAM solutions from money‑market and short‑duration bond funds to separately managed accounts (SMAs) and Mosaic (Money Market Fund portal).

The position is based in the London office; some travel, primarily within the UK, is required.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Drive business revenues by selling money‑market, fixed‑income strategies to a UK corporate & insurance client base.
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing clients as well as identify and prospect for new opportunities via cold‑calling and leveraging the firm to retain and increase sales and profitability.
  • Partner with team members to coordinate portfolio reviews, prospect client pitches, product presentations, and RFPs.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders across the division—including portfolio managers, product managers, legal, technology, operations and compliance—to meet clients’ needs.
  • Collaborate with the coverage team to find opportunities to grow assets and market share.
  • Assist in discovering clients and prospects to understand their business and investment processes to uncover needs and position GSAM products and services to meet those needs.
  • Coordinate with the client service team and operations to help facilitate sales/new business.
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree and strong academic background required, preferably in economics and/or finance.
  • Five or more years’ work experience in financial services preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow‑through.
  • Ability to grasp problems described by clients, formulate them clearly, and communicate the resulting analysis to clients with a wide range of analytical and technical expertise.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue, and collaborate well with others.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment.
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Salesforce.
  • Investment Management Certificate required, or obtained within three months of joining.
