Location:
London (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract:
Immediate start, ongoing role with potential extension beyond December
Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to take the next step in your career. Our client, a leading organisation within the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic London-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a fast-paced, international environment, supporting core financial operations and leading a small finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare yearly Budget and the monthly Forecast
Prepare monthly management accounts and maintain robust financial controls
Oversee cash flow management and budgeting processes
Coordinate the preparation of statutory accounts and tax returns
Manage the relationship with the statutory auditor for the Financial Statements audit
Review and manage invoices relating to client operations and liquids sales
Lead and support a team of finance assistants, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Assist the Finance Manager with financial planning, analysis, and reporting
About You:
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of UK GAAP
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
