The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in securities lending, a strong understanding of global financial markets, and a proven ability to drive business growth with risk management at its core. You are a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can build strong relationships with institutional clients, internal stakeholders, and external counterparts.

This role is office-based with limited flex-work options.

What

You Will Be Responsible For

As Vice President in our Agency Lending Trading team, you will:

  • Respond to locates, value, price and execute securities lending transactions
  • Develop tools and enhance trade structures to optimize capital and returns for clients
  • Enhance electronic trading by contributing to the development of internal trading systems and optimizing connectivity with external platforms
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with clients and borrowers, third-party vendors and platform providers
  • Generate market colour and quantitative analysis to discuss themes with clients, internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with IT partners to innovate and improve existing processes and workflows, utilizing AI and LLM where possible
  • Proactively engage with subject matter experts to monitor changes in tax and regulatory requirements, market trends and capital-efficient trading structures
  • Work alongside Business Development and Relationship Management teams to provide portfolio revenue estimates, sales and marketing pitches
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote the agency lending platform

Education &

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Securities Finance Trader from an Agency Lending or Principal background
  • A strong understanding of securities lending trading dynamics, market structure, regulation, and technology
  • A solid grasp of bank capital, liquidity, and leverage constraints and how they impact securities finance businesses
  • Quantitative skills to manipulate large datasets and deliver meaningful and actionable outputs
  • Ability in VBA, SQL, Python or equivalent programming language is an advantage, although not a requirement

  • Limited EMEA travel may be required
