Capital Markets | Infrastructure Investing

Madison Hunt is partnered with a global infrastructure investment platform that is seeking an Investment Professional to join its London-based investment team.

Role responsibilities include taking ownership of financing work streams across both existing portfolio companies and new investments, partnering closely with deal teams, asset management, legal and senior leadership. You’ll be exposed to a broad range of sectors including energy transition, transport, utilities and digital infrastructure, with real influence over outcomes.

This is a highly visible role offering deep transaction exposure, senior stakeholder interaction and long-term career progression within a growing infrastructure platform.

• Lead the structuring and execution of financing solutions across infrastructure assets, including refinancings, acquisitions and growth initiatives
• Review and optimise portfolio company capital structures and liquidity strategies, identifying opportunities for proactive or opportunistic financing
• Coordinate complex transaction processes, including lender engagement, due diligence and negotiation of commercial terms
• Work closely with internal legal teams and external counsel on financing documentation
• Prepare and contribute to investment committee materials, including financing analysis and scenario modelling
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit funds and alternative capital providers across global markets
• Act as a financing specialist and trusted partner to investment and asset management teams

• 6-8 years of experience in infrastructure financing, project finance, leveraged finance, private credit or related roles
• Strong exposure to infrastructure or adjacent sectors (energy, utilities, transport, digital, renewables, etc.)
• Proven ability to run and coordinate complex transactions end‑to‑end
• Deep understanding of financing instruments, credit documentation and capital markets
• Advanced financial modelling and commercial judgement
• Strong stakeholder management skills with confidence operating at senior levels
