Senior Analyst / Associate – Capital Market & Investments
Location: Central London
Work Style: Onsite
Salary: £75,000 – £100,000 base + bonus + benefits
Role OverviewPsd Group are currently working with an International Capital Market company, they are currently looking for a high-calibre Senior Analyst / Associate to support their origination and execution of investments across European real estate and private credit strategies
.
Working closely with the investment partners, this role offers hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including due diligence, structuring, portfolio management and investor reporting.
The position suits an analytically strong, commercially minded professional who thrives in a fast‑paced investment environment and is comfortable working across complex capital structures and jurisdictions and who is happy to be in the office 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain detailed financial models including cash flow and downside analysis
- Support underwriting of new opportunities, including asset and sponsor analysis
- Prepare investment memoranda and materials for Investment Committee
- Support commercial, financial, legal and technical due diligence
- Review key documentation (loan agreements, SPAs, intercreditor and security packages)
- Monitor portfolio performance against underwriting assumptions and covenants
- Support asset management, refinancing and exit analysis
- Conduct market and European capital markets real estate research to identify opportunities
- Strong academic background, ideally a degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Professional qualification preferred (CFA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience with in private equity, private credit or real assets, with exposure to European real estate capital markets
- Advanced financial modelling skills, including leveraged and structured finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a lean investment team
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
- Technical excellence paired with commercial judgement
- A genuine interest in real assets, downside protection and capital preservation
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a long‑term investment focus
