The Group Finance division, led by the Global Divisional CFO, is responsible for the overall finance support across all areas of TPICAP. Divisional Finance is responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) & Business Division Finance working closely with investor relations, business CEOs and other functions across the Group including Regional finance teams.
This is a high profile role within the FP&A team and will report to the Head of FP&A. The role will have an overall responsibility to manage accurate and timely delivery of the group planning and forecasting deliverables, including scenario analysis. This role will own Groupwide financial models and presentations to the required quality standard.
The position requires a suitably qualified accountant who will be an integral support for strategic business decision making through extensive financial modelling and analysis and bring transparency and rigour to the data and models used to make smart, data-driven decisions and aligning with our broader strategic and financial objectives.
- 3-Statement financial model:
Develop, maintain, and enhance the Group's integrated financial models used for medium- to long-term cashflow forecasting. Apply advanced Excel modelling skills, conduct scenario analysis, and build dashboards to visualise key outputs. Lead the Business valuation & impairment modelling for goodwill and other assets, supporting the Group's valuation and audit processes. Support the Directors' Going Concern assessment through robust forecasting and risk analysis.
Collate and synthesise data from One Stream and other systems. Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand and analyse key financial drivers. Automate data extraction and transformation processes. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline workflows and operate with agility. Contribute to the development of strategic business plans. Draw insights from diverse inputs and articulate clear, data-driven narratives for senior stakeholders.
Prepare high-quality presentations for Execs, the Board, and internal/external reports that communicate financial insights and strategic recommendations. Provide analytical support for ad-hoc or other strategic projects and decision-making. - Experience / Competences:
Essential Demonstrated excellence in financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex data. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Solid organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality outputs and consistency in reporting. Proven ability to build effective working relationships across functions, influencing and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Able to identify issues, proposing practical solutions, and executing corrective actions. Highly self-motivated and able to work independently, taking full ownership and responsibility. Comfortable working in dynamic environments, with the ability to pivot and adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Experience in delivering projects or process improvements, with a focus on driving positive change within finance functions. Ability to interpret financial data, draw meaningful conclusions, and provide strategic recommendations to support business decision-making.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial analysis, presentation development, and data manipulation. Sound understanding of financial and management information systems and their role in supporting business performance. Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Desired Previous experience within the Financial Services industry is desirable, particularly in regulated or complex environments.…
