Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis of stressed, distressed, and event-driven opportunities across Europe.
- Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and recovery scenarios.
- Perform due diligence on potential investments, including market research, legal documentation review, and operational assessments.
- Prepare investment committee materials and contribute to deal structuring and execution.
- Monitor portfolio positions, assist in asset management initiatives, and liaise with advisers and counter parties.
- At least 2 years of distressed debt/special situations/opportunistic credit experience.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and credit documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- European language skills (especially Spanish, Italian, German, or French) are desirable, though not essential.
