You’ll be working with fantastic teammates at all levels to ensure we’re ticking all the right boxes and our teams are working as compliantly and efficiently as possible.

This is a role that will have significant potential for development as we continue our ongoing growth across the Insurance market both within the United Kingdom and Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the day‑to‑day operations of the Financial Operations Audit Team, including various sections of the audit programs for Integrated, Financial, Cash and Financial Team Leader reviews.
  • Budget monitoring and bi‑weekly review of each region’s expenses.
  • Participate in annual risk assessment meetings and all financial operations meetings (including meetings with US financial operations audit teammates), and other company meetings as necessary.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders across the entire business including Tech Solutions, Retail, Risk & Compliance, Operations, MGA, Digital.
  • Be a point of contact for Profit Centres, ROLs, ROSs, and team members for answering audit‑related questions.
  • Keep informed of industry and profession developments through a review of online seminars, maintaining related manuals and attending meetings.
  • Review and revamp audit, IT, ROL/ROS, Cash and other various programs as changes in industry or profession occur.
  • Prepare and review the draft report and final report before issuance to relevant parties.
  • Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Solid exposure to internal audit within the insurance industry.
  • Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA (or equivalent). If not yet qualified within the audit arena, must be willing to undertake further professional development.
  • Strong exposure to SOX audits, GAAP (including US GAAP), working knowledge of IFRS and FCA/Financial Legislation/Rules.
  • Comfortable with travelling to various business locations outside of London.
  • Exposure to auditing of US businesses and Workday Finance is desirable.
  • Well‑developed skill set: high level communication (written, verbal, video), analytical, stakeholder management, influencing and problem solving skills, and ability to use related finance and IT packages.
