An established and globally active REPE firm is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Associate to join its pan-European Acquisitions team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in sourcing, evaluating, and executing real estate acquisitions across multiple jurisdictions.
About the RoleAs an Associate in the Acquisitions team, you will work closely with senior investment professionals and cross‑functional teams to originate and execute high‑impact investments across multiple asset classes. This is a hands‑on investment role requiring deep market analysis, rigorous financial modelling, and active involvement in the transaction process. The team have a strong track record in platform deals, development and direct‑asset acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior team members to source, underwrite, and execute real estate acquisitions across Europe.
- Perform detailed financial modelling, scenario analysis, and cash flow forecasting for both asset‑level and platform‑level transactions.
- Coordinate due diligence efforts, liaising with third‑party consultants, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop investment committee materials and present findings for internal decision‑making.
- Maintain a strong understanding of macroeconomic and real estate market dynamics across the broader European market.
- Build and nurture relationships with brokers, developers, lenders, and operating partners to support deal sourcing and market intelligence.
- Assist in structuring joint ventures, partnership agreements, and other transaction documents.
- Monitor and manage a pipeline of prospective acquisitions, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Relevant experience in real estate acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or transaction services at a Big 4 firm.
- Strong familiarity with European real estate markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills (especially real estate cash flow modelling) and proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated track record in underwriting diverse real estate asset types including data centres, residential, logistics, industrial, and office.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative, fast‑paced, deal‑driven environment.
- High attention to detail, professional integrity, and a problem‑solving mindset.
