We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join the firm's high-performing Partner Financial Affairs team based in London.
You will be responsible for preparing the partners' annual tax reserves, overseeing our partner tax compliance process and assisting with other key tasks which are pivotal to the team's continuing success.
The Partner Financial Affairs team comprises 5 Tax Advisers and 5 Partnership Accountants. Together, we handle Tax and Partnership Accounting matters for the firm and all partners globally. The Partner Financial Affairs team sits within the wider London Accounts department of circa 60 individuals. You will report to the Head of Partner Financial Affairs.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the detailed annual tax reserves for all global partners - including international profit sources and DTR.
- Lead the UK tax compliance cycle for the firm's UK resident and non-resident partners, with the assistance of our Partner Tax Manager.
- Assist with other ad hoc compliance tasks and projects.
- Several years' experience as a tax adviser within international law firms and / or large professional services firms.
- Strong understanding of both partner and partnership and related tax issues.
- Experienced in preparing detailed partners' tax reserves, including international aspects such as DTR.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of the partner tax compliance cycle.
- Highly organised, proactive and self-starting.
- Excellent attention to detail and thorough self-review.
- Committed to providing consistently excellent service to partners.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Ideally experienced in Aderant.
- Team player - practical, enthusiastic and flexible.
- CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
