Corporate Tax senior

We are partnered with an excellent, established Accountancy Practice, who are looking to add a new Corporate Tax Senior to their team. You will be involved in all day-to-day aspects of the corporate tax compliance function.

This role provides a variety of work, as the corporate client portfolio is varied and includes a broad range of sectors and industries.

• Prepare and review corporation tax computations, returns, and deferred tax for financial statements.
• Review financial statements and identify relevant tax issues.
• Handle HMRC correspondence, including drafting and reviewing letters.
• Support and review work completed by junior team members; delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Liaise with audit and other departments to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Maintain accurate work trackers and Digita records.
• Build effective working relationships across the firm.
• Develop technical tax knowledge through research and consultation with senior staff.
• Assist with technical queries appropriate to experience level.

• At least 2 years’ full-time experience in Corporate Tax.
• CTA qualified, studying towards CTA, or CTA-qualified with ACA/ACCA preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organisation, time management, and prioritisation skills.
• Able to work accurately under pressure.
