OTC Equity Drafter AVP​/VP

Overview

Risk mitigate and confirm OTC derivative transitions with both internal and external clients via paper or electronic confirmation process. This role involves dealing with trade confirmation language and economic breaks, collaborating with counter parties to resolve issues, draft points on outstanding trade confirmations, and supporting ad-hoc confirmations in conjunction with Legal.

• Draft ad-hoc confirmations in conjunction with Legal.
• Create templates if necessary, seeking Sales, Trading and Legal approvals.
• Deliver strategic projects to drive efficiency and enhanced controls.
• Manage other tasks assigned as demand dictates.
• Collaborate with counter parties to resolve urgent issues, clarify issues, or draft points on outstanding trade confirmations.
• Risk mitigate and confirm OTC derivative transitions with internal and external clients via paper or electronic confirmation process.
• Deal with trade confirmation language and economic breaks.

• Extensive knowledge of the 2002 and 2006 ISDA Equity and Swap Definitions.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing OTC Equity Structured Products, including Conditional Variance Swaps, Phoenix Autocalls, Swap Strategies, and Worst / Best of Strategies.
• Able to review and negotiate Equity Master Confirmation Agreements.
