Management Accountant - Part Qualified​/Finalist

Our client is a fast-growth business in the cosmetics and fragrance space. They mix minimalist, science driven techniques with innovation and craftsmanship. Operating on a retail & wholesale model, they have a strong UK presence and have recently expanded into the US.

Working within a tight-knit team, this Management Acccountant will have a broad role, mainly responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts and central to the month-end close process. Working closely with the senior finance leadership team, this is a great opportunity for exposure and growth as the business scales.

• Full ownership of management accounts
• Lead month-end activities, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
• Preparing stock reconciliation each month end in conjunction with operations team and ensure all stock movements are correctly recorded in both the stock ledgers and the general ledger
• Assist with financial reporting, consolidation, and variance analysis
• Maintain accurate ledgers and financial records across the business
• Deliver detailed analysis and financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives across the finance function

• Degree in Business, Economics, or Finance
• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA with ambition to complete qualification
• Experience with stock management
• US accounting exposure a bonus
• FMCG or Retail industry experience preferred
