Assistant Financial Controller

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Assistant
Financial Controller to support senior finance leadership and take ownership of accounting operations during a critical phase of growth and transformation. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys building processes, leading small teams, and operating in fast-paced, scaling environments.

We want someone who is:

• A qualified ACA, ACCA, or CPA (or equivalent)
• 6+ years into their accounting career with progressive responsibility
• Experienced in Big 4 or similar professional services firms
• Coming from a SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment
• Strong in US GAAP
  , including multi-entity and multi-currency structures
• Confident owning month-end close, revenue recognition, and general ledger
• Experienced transitioning work from offshore or outsourced teams
• Comfortable building and managing a small accounting team (1–2 people)
• Systems-savvy, with experience using Net Suite, Salesforce, and Excel
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in change-driven environments

• Owning day-to-day accounting operations including GL, revenue recognition, and close
• Leading the transition of accounting processes from offshore and outsourced providers to an in-house model
• Building, managing, and mentoring a small accounting team with clear KPIs
• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under US GAAP
• Maintaining and improving internal controls and accounting policies as the business scales
• Partnering with global FP&A, tax, and compliance teams to ensure cross-border alignment
• Supporting audits, board reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Working closely with senior finance leadership to drive operational improvements
