Investment Banking M&A Healthcare Analyst & Associates

Overview

Metis Search are currently partnered with a leading international investment bank with a strong Healthcare M&A franchise, looking to hire Analysts and Associates into its London-based team. This is an opportunity to join a well-established and highly active Healthcare investment banking platform, advising on buy-side and sell-side M&A, strategic advisory, and capital markets transactions across the UK and Europe. The team operates within a lean, execution-focused environment, offering significant responsibility, strong deal exposure, and a clear progression path.

The role provides regular interaction with senior management teams, founders, private equity sponsors, and boards, alongside exposure to complex and high-profile transactions across healthcare services, pharma, medtech, and life sciences.

• Supporting the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions within the Healthcare sector
• Preparing financial models, valuations, and detailed financial analysis
• Producing high-quality client presentations, information memoranda, and marketing materials
• Conducting commercial and financial due diligence
• Working closely with senior bankers on strategic advisory and transaction execution
• Managing work streams and mentoring junior team members (Associate level)

Analyst:

• Background in Big 4 Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, or M&A
• Alternatively, at least 1 year of M&A experience within an investment bank
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Clear interest in Healthcare M&A

Associate:

• At least 2 years of experience in M&A within an investment bank or equivalent advisory role
• Strong execution experience across M&A transactions
• Ability to manage processes and interact confidently with clients and counter parties
