Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports using accounting software including Quick Books, Xero, Sage, and People Soft.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and support training initiatives in financial management practices.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial risk assessments.
• Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for audit purposes.

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, Xero, People Soft, or equivalent systems.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles and accounting standards.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse complex financial data accurately.
• Experience in mentoring or supporting team members is desirable.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
