Our client, a global healthcare solutions provider supporting pharmaceutical products and market access across multiple regions, is seeking a Finance Manager to support its expanding operations in Southeast Asia.
This role will work closely with regional and headquarters stakeholders, managing end-to-end finance operations with exposure to cross-border trade, multi-currency transactions, and group reporting.
Job ResponsibilitiesOversee full-spectrum financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end and year-end closing activities
Prepare and review periodic financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis to support business decision-making
Manage group reporting requirements, including consolidation of accounts across regional entities and coordination with headquarters
Support international business operations, including fund settlements, intercompany transactions, and cross-border payments
Monitor and manage foreign exchange (FX) exposure, working with banks and internal stakeholders to mitigate currency risks
Handle finance matters related to import and export activities, including trade documentation, cost allocation, customs-related charges, and reconciliation of logistics and landed costs
Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal control policies
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and external service providers as required
Support process improvements, system enhancements, and finance-related projects as the business scales
Perform other finance and operational duties as assigned by management
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in a regional or international business environment
Prior exposure to group reporting and consolidation, including intercompany accounting, is strongly preferred
Experience in industries involving import/export, trading, supply chain, or cross-border operations will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, statutory reporting, and financial compliance, with hands-on accounting experience
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
Proficient in accounting systems and financial software; experience with ERP systems is a plus
Able to work independently in a fast-growing, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
