Senior Financial Accountant

A leading private equity business is looking to bring on a senior financial accountant to join their team here in London. With specialist expertise in private equity, infrastructure, private credit, and sustainable investing, the firm has a team of over 250 professionals operating from offices across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

• Take ownership of the end-to-end monthly close and financial reporting process for a core UK entity, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Act as the primary point of contact for year-end statutory accounts and external audit processes, including preparation of accounts and audit deliverables, and coordination with auditors.
• Support tax and regulatory compliance activities, including VAT, corporate tax processes, and statutory reporting obligations.
• Contribute to a range of strategic finance initiatives and transformation projects, helping to improve systems, processes, and controls across the finance function.
• Provide support to international finance activities as required.

• Qualification ACA/ACCA or equivalent with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience and a strong background in similar finance roles (professional or financial services experience is a plus).
• Degree educated or equivalent through professional experience.
• Confident in leading external audits from planning through to final sign-off.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial models and large datasets.

• Able to stay calm under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
• A clear, confident communicator who builds strong working relationships.
