Junior Operations at Global Macro Hedge Fund

Our client, a well performing Global Macro Hedge Fund, is looking to make a hire for it’s Middle Office team. The company have a strong track record, and currently stand at in excess of $10 billion AUM and a team of around 200 globally. Due to a strong performance in 2025, the company is looking to expand it’s trade operations arm.

This firm are considered to be one of the top hedge funds in the world and they look to hire the best talent in the industry. They place a big emphasis on technology and uses tools like Python and VBA a lot in their day-to-day to automate and streamline various processes, so this would allow you the opportunity to develop skills in these regards.

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations, investigating and resolving breaks with internal teams and external counter parties.
• Support the post‑trade lifecycle across trades, working closely with front office, fund accounting and prime brokers to ensure accurate processing.
• Opportunity to progress into a broader Middle Office role, gaining increased responsibility and exposure within a dynamic, multi‑strategy hedge fund environment.

• Recent graduates with up to two years of experience within the finance industry is preferable, whether that be from another hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank or brokerage.
• This role is going to suit someone with a strong academic background, for example a degree in Economics, Maths, Physics, Finance etc from a top University.
