Group Financial Controller

Remote-first (UK-based) | 1 day/week in London

Our client is seeking a hands-on Group Financial Controller to join their Finance team during an exciting phase of growth. You’ll manage end-to-end financial control across UK/US operations, ensure compliance, and build scalable processes, reporting to the Head of Finance.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, group consolidations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance across multiple entities
• Manage audits, tax, R&D credits, and statutory reporting (IFRS)
• Oversee transactional finance: AP/AR, invoicing, payroll, reconciliations
• Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury activities
• Support cap table management and share option schemes
• Drive continuous improvement in finance systems, processes, and automation
• Assist Head of Finance with financial modelling, budgeting, KPI tracking, and ad-hoc projects

• ACA/ACCA qualified, ideally from a top-tier firm
• 2–5 years post-qualification experience in high-growth SaaS/tech
• Strong technical knowledge across control, tax, compliance, and multi-entity consolidations
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable improving processes
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills;
  Xero & Fathom experience a plus
