Finance Business Partner | Private Equity, Facilities Management. Location
London, permanent & full-time position (4x days Office each week).
The OpportunityA high-performing, Private Equity–backed Facilities Management business is seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to support and accelerate its next phase of growth. The business generates circa £70m in turnover, delivers ~10% EBITDA, and is highly regarded within its industry for quality, reliability, and strong operational performance.
With a clear value-creation strategy, the business is continuing to scale organically and through M&A, with a stated ambition to double turnover over the next three years, driven predominantly by acquisitions. This role offers the opportunity to sit close to the operational core of the business and directly influence decision-making.
The RoleReporting directly into a seasoned Private Equity CFO, the Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in embedding commercial insight across the organisation. The role will focus on partnering closely with operational and commercial leaders to improve performance across cost control, margins, sales effectiveness, and pipeline management, while helping elevate financial standards to Private Equity level.
This position will suit a hands-on, proactive finance professional who enjoys being close to the business, challenging assumptions, and driving improved commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a trusted finance partner to operational and commercial stakeholders across the group
- Provide clear, actionable financial insight to support decision-making and performance improvement
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for key business areas
- Analyse revenue, margins, costs, and operational drivers, identifying risks and opportunities
- Support commercial decision-making across pricing, contract performance, and sales pipeline
- Develop and enhance KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting
- Support integration and performance monitoring of acquired businesses
- Contribute to the professionalisation of finance processes and controls in line with Private Equity expectations
- Professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering role, ideally within a fast-growth or Private Equity–backed environment
- Strong management accounting and commercial analysis capability
- Confident working with non-finance stakeholders, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
- Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of margin, cost drivers, and operational levers
- A team player with a growth mindset and strong communication skills
