Our client is a market-leading FTSE listed international Group with strong brand recognition and leading positions in its sector. Operating in a fast-paced, technology-driven leisure environment, with significant international operations, the business has an entrepreneurial culture alongside a high-quality management team. The Group is currently undergoing a period of meaningful transformation and is at an exciting stage in its evolution.

We are currently seeking a Divisional Financial Controller, to lead the Group-wide cash reporting and reconciliation processes, while also owning the P&L and Balance Sheet reporting for a portfolio of European legal entities. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity, timely reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, supporting strategic decision-making at both divisional and Group levels.

Acting as a trusted partner to senior management, Group Finance and external auditors, the Divisional Financial Controller will provide strong technical leadership and financial oversight across their jurisdictions, with 5 direct reports and support from the international FSSC.

• Lead the Group-wide cash reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Own the P&L and Balance Sheet reporting for a portfolio of European legal entities.
• Ensure financial integrity, timely reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support strategic decision-making at both divisional and Group levels.
• Act as a trusted partner to senior management, Group Finance and external auditors.
• Provide strong technical leadership and financial oversight across jurisdictions.
• Manage a team of 5 direct reports with support from the international FSSC.

• Qualified accountant with strong post-qualification experience in financial accounting, audit and statutory reporting, ideally in a complex or listed environment.
• High level of technical expertise across IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Proactive approach to continuous professional development and staying up to date with legislative, accounting and best-practice developments.
• Ability to interpret and implement relevant changes across the business in a timely manner.
