Senior DB Pricing Actuary – Bulk Annuities

I’m hiring a Senior DB Pricing Actuary to join a high-performing Defined Benefit Pricing team at a business that’s growing fast and investing heavily in its bulk annuity capability.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the deal shaping pricing strategy, owning quotations end-to-end, and working directly with commercial and reinsurance teams to win attractive business in a competitive market.

You’ll have real influence: leading complex cases, improving how pricing is done, and helping develop the next generation of actuaries around you. There’s plenty of scope to bring new ideas, make processes better, and use technology more intelligently.

• Taking ownership of DB buy-in / buy-out pricing cases
• Leading projects and driving work forward across teams
• Improving pricing tools, models and ways of working
• Coaching junior actuaries and setting technical standards
• Partnering with commercial and reinsurance colleagues on live deals

• Strong experience in DB bulk annuity pricing (or very close exposure)
• A technically confident actuary who enjoys solving complex problems
• Someone comfortable leading work, influencing others and making decisions
• Programming skills a plus but mindset matters more
