Head of Treasury – Digital Assets / Crypto Markets

We’re working with a globally active digital assets firm that supports institutional clients and founders operating in crypto and capital markets. The business provides liquidity, trading, and strategic support across multiple jurisdictions and has built a strong reputation for operating at the centre of fast-moving, institutional-grade crypto markets.

As the organisation continues to scale, they are now looking to appoint a Head of Treasury to lead global liquidity and capital management across both fiat and digital assets.

This role offers full ownership of treasury strategy and execution for a complex, multi-entity global business. You’ll be responsible for ensuring liquidity is sufficient, capital is allocated effectively, and treasury infrastructure evolves in line with growth.

Working closely with Trading, Finance, Risk, and senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in shaping decisions around new products, legal entities, and geographic expansion, while remaining hands-on with day-to-day treasury activity.

• Lead firm-wide liquidity and capital planning across fiat and crypto
• Develop cash flow forecasting, stress testing, and capital buffer frameworks
• Monitor and optimise capital usage across desks, business lines, and entities
• Produce clear reporting on capital headroom and asset–liability positions

• Provide oversight of global treasury operations, ensuring strong controls and governance
• Review cash positioning, reconciliations, and internal funding movements
• Design and enhance treasury policies, frameworks, and reporting processes
• Manage global banking relationships and funding arrangements
• Develop and support Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methodologies
• Structure intercompany funding to reduce trapped liquidity and support regulatory and tax efficiency

• Advise on treasury considerations for new products, entities, and market entry
• Own corporate FX exposure management, including hedging strategy and execution

• 5+ years’ experience in treasury, finance, or capital markets roles
• Experience with in trading, digital assets, fintech, or investment-led environments preferred
• Strong track record managing liquidity and funding across multi-currency, multi-entity structures
• Solid understanding of working capital, liquidity risk, and capital deployment in volatile markets
• Practical knowledge of crypto market infrastructure (exchanges, wallets, margining, stable coins)
• Experience designing or operating treasury operating models and intercompany funding structures
• Able to operate at both strategic and executional levels in a high-growth environment
