Portfolio Manager​/Senior Analyst; Tech & Taiwan Equities

Our client is an international asset management house with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre candidate to join them.

This role focuses on Greater China technology sector and Taiwan equities, requiring deep industry expertise, strong fundamental research capabilities, and a proven ability to generate alpha. Contribute to portfolio construction, stock selection, and risk management, while also engaging with clients to communicate investment strategy and performance. Conduct deep-dive fundamental research on companies in Greater China technology and Taiwan markets. Build and maintain detailed financial models, perform valuation analysis, and assess industry dynamics.

Identify secular trends, competitive advantages, and catalysts for long-term value creation. Manage positions within assigned sector and country coverage, ensuring alignment with portfolio objectives and risk parameters, working in a team-based culture. Engage with company management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to gather insights. Represent the team in client meetings, presentations, and portfolio reviews. Clearly articulate investment philosophy, portfolio positioning, and performance drivers.

To be considered, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a buy-side firm. Proven track record of generating alpha through fundamental research and disciplined investment process. Sound understanding of Greater China technology sector and Taiwan equity markets. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. With client-facing experience in presentations and portfolio reviews.

Excellent communication and presentation in English and Mandarin.
