Credit Controller
Hybrid role: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home

Totum Partners is working with a professional services firm to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team.

We are looking for someone confident in managing end-to-end credit control, taking ownership of their own portfolio, and working proactively to maintain strong cash flow.

• Managing debt collection across your own portfolio
• Chasing outstanding balances and reducing aged debt, including 90+ day debt
• Improving cash flow and debtor days
• Working closely with the Cashiers team to clear unallocated cash and over payments
• Liaising with Partners, fee earners and internal teams on credit control matters
• Keeping accurate notes and following agreed escalation processes
• Resolving queries promptly and professionally
• Supporting improvements to credit control processes and systems

• Proven experience in a credit control role within legal or professional services (essential)
• Comfortable managing the full collections cycle and your own portfolio
• Experience using a practice management system such as Elite 3E or similar is advantageous
• Confident communicator, able to work with senior stakeholders
• Well organised, proactive and able to identify process improvements
