We’re looking for a motivated, detail‑driven and customer‑focused Associate to join our Real Estate Finance team. If you’re currently working in commercial banking and eager to expand your skills within a high‑growth t, this is an excellent step forward.
You’ll play a central role in supporting the management of our lending pipeline, delivering an exceptional experience to our customers, and ensuring the smooth execution of transactions from initial onboarding through to completion. Working closely with experienced Relationship Directors, you’ll gain exposure to complex deals, develop deep expertise in due diligence, and build strong relationships across our internal and external networks.

What you’ll be doing Delivering an outstanding customer experience- Support the end‑to‑end execution of real estate finance transactions.
- Keep customers and stakeholders updated, ensuring progress is smooth and well‑communicated.
- Take personal ownership of ensuring every customer receives responsive, proactive service.
- Project‑manage transactions to agreed timescales, chasing internal teams and external partners to keep deals moving.
- Collaborate with Relationship Directors and customers to fulfil CDD/CRA requirements throughout the life of the relationship.
- Gather and present covenant information, track conditions precedent and maintain accurate records.
- Obtain and prepare instructions for legal, valuation and monitoring surveyor services.
- Liaise with Credit, Financial Crime, Governance & Quality Assurance and other specialist teams to ensure a robust, compliant process.
- Support tranche drawdowns, security releases and repayments by preparing accurate information for review.
- Maintain accurate data across systems (Aurius, I‑Drive, nCino) to support high‑quality MI and portfolio reporting.
- Aim for 100% right‑first‑time accuracy in all documentation and record keeping.
- Identify and escalation risks appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including CDD, AML, GDPR, information security and ABAC.

Essential experience- Experience working in financial services, ideally commercial banking, with an understanding of regulatory responsibilities (CDD, AML, GDPR).
- A background in customer due diligence or exposure to Real Estate Finance processes is highly beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills — able to prioritise, manage multiple transactions and stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable working at pace and taking initiative to solve problems.
- Solid IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.
- A recognised banking/financial services qualification is beneficial.
- Direct experience supporting real estate finance transactions from start to finish.
