Our client is a leading global private markets manager with a diversified platform across private equity, secondaries, credit, and infrastructure.
They are seeking a Director, Fund Reporting – Private Credit to lead fund reporting for their open-ended private credit strategy
. This is a senior role combining technical expertise, people leadership, and process improvement. The successful candidate will initially manage a team of six Fund Accountants, with scope to grow the team as the platform expands.
The role requires a hands‑on leader who can operate confidently in the detail while maintaining a strong strategic perspective, ensuring priorities are managed effectively and reporting processes continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee monthly fund reporting and factsheet production for open‑ended private credit funds
- Manage, develop, and mentor a team of Fund Accountants, including workflow planning and task allocation
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives
, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, control, and scalability - Design, implement, and oversee a robust fund reporting control environment
- Support the Treasury function with NAV borrowing base analysis and ongoing compliance with financing agreements
- Provide analytical support for weekly Investment Committee meetings
, including allocation and performance analysis - Oversee monthly and ad hoc reporting to support Group Finance and Group Reporting
- Deliver ad hoc analysis in response to investor and internal stakeholder requests
- Support broader regulatory and compliance reporting requirements
- Own and manage relationships with Third‑Party Administrators and Fund Auditors
- Highly motivated, proactive, and intellectually capable, with a strong record of achievement
- University degree;
ACA / ACCA qualified - Minimum 10 years’ experience within Professional Services, Alternative Investments, or Financial Services
- Demonstrable experience working with Private Credit funds
- Proven team leadership and people management experience
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, financial modelling) and strong proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
- Experience delivering or supporting major projects or process change initiatives is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Clear, professional, and effective interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines
- Effective leader within geographically distributed teams
