If you are early in your lending career and want to build real underwriting capability rather than remain in an administrative role, this Junior Underwriter – Bridging Finance position offers structured exposure to live cases within a supportive, well resourced environment. You will work closely with experienced underwriters and gain end to end insight into bridging transactions.

This role is designed for someone who wants to learn properly. You will be given time, access, and guidance to develop technical underwriting skills while contributing to a growing pipeline of quality business.

Package & Benefits

• Salary £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior underwriters with assessment of bridging finance cases from initial review through to completion.

• Review valuations, financial information, and supporting documentation to aid credit decision making.

• Assist with issuing offers and managing cases through the underwriting pipeline.

• Maintain accurate records and system updates to support reporting and case tracking.

About You

• Experience with in bridging finance, mortgages, or specialist property lending in a support, processing, or underwriting role.

• Exposure to reviewing lending documentation such as valuations, financials, or legal reports.

• Experience working within a regulated or credit driven lending environment.
