You will make an impact by:

An exciting opportunity to work within Restructuring Team. The role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your advisory skills and to be part of a national team improving processes and working nationally.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting and supporting the wider Restructuring Team.
  • Preparing engagement letters and documents.
  • Preparing letters and reports for shareholders and other stakeholders.
  • Preparing data for KPI’s.
  • Ensuring assigned diary lines are completed within the deadline.
  • Inputting data onto the internal systems.
  • General case administration including raising bills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills essential.
What we’re looking for:

  • Deals with client staff and shareholders in a confident and professional manner.
  • Focussed on client care and providing excellent service.
  • Responds to client requests for information promptly and in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Has the ability to gain information from client staff in connection with part of assignment being worked on.
  • Establishes positive working relationships with rest of the national team.
  • Maintains working relationships with RSM colleagues in their local office / region.

  • Demonstrates awareness of and implements RSM national operating procedures manual and processes.
  • Recognises when information provided by client is incomplete and takes steps to rectify this.
  • Awareness of internal procedures and processes and follows requirements laid out.
  • Recognises limitations of own knowledge and experience and involves colleagues when appropriate.
  • Awareness of data protection issues and client confidentiality.
  • Commercial awareness in respect of budgets, expenses, and time recording.
  • Is responsive and adaptable to departmental workload as a whole and workplace(s).
  • Understands how role fits into the team and keeps others informed of own workload and progress.
  • Cooperates and supports colleagues in achieving deadlines/resolving issues (where capacity permits).
  • Participates in meetings and team‑based activities, contributing appropriately.
