A highly regarded consulting practice is seeking a qualified actuary to join its expanding advisory team, working on complex, high-impact problems that sit well outside traditional insurance or pensions roles.

The role involves advising on a wide range of bespoke, analytical and strategic engagements
, including:
- Long-term risk and uncertainty modelling
- Assurance and challenge of complex financial and economic analysis
- Strategic funding and investment decisions
- Compensation, remediation and contingent liability frameworks
- Infrastructure, energy and environmental risk
- High-stakes decision-making under uncertainty
Projects are varied, intellectually demanding, and require clear communication of complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Your RoleYou will:
- Lead and contribute to consulting engagements from scoping through to delivery
- Review, challenge and improve models, assumptions and methodologies
- Translate complex analysis into clear, evidence-based advice
- Work closely with senior stakeholders on sensitive and high-profile issues
- Manage multiple concurrent projects in a consulting environment
This is a role where judgement, curiosity and communication are just as important as technical actuarial expertise.
Level, Progression & Reward- Open to senior-level qualified actuaries
, with entry point depending on experience - Compensation: circa £90k-£100k initially, with clear scope for rapid progression into more senior bands
