Financial Controller

London, 4 days a week - must be immediately available

Finatal are partnered with a Private Equity backed Tech Services Business who are looking for a Financial Controller to join immediately. They are looking for an experienced Head of Finance with a background in private equity–backed, mid-market businesses. This role is firmly focused on financial control and does not require FP&A or commercial business partnering experience.

The Head of Finance will take ownership of the core finance function, ensuring a well-run monthly close and a strong control environment. The role covers oversight of the finance system and reconciliations, management of accounts payable and credit control, and leadership of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Owning the month-end and year-end close cycles
• Producing management accounts and board packs
• Maintaining a fully reconciled, robust balance sheet
• Ensuring accounts payable and approval processes are efficient and well controlled
• Establishing and maintaining clear financial governance and controls
• Organising and developing the finance team to operate effectively and consistently

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Experience working in a scaling business
