Senior Compliance Analyst – Lloyd’s / London Market

An established Lloyd's Syndicate is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Analyst to join a high-performing compliance team within the Lloyd’s/London market.

This role will play a key part in identifying, assessing and managing regulatory, conduct and financial crime/sanctions, supporting the business in meeting its regulatory obligations while promoting strong customer outcomes and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage financial crime risks, including AML, sanctions and bribery and corruption
• Conduct sanctions screening and support ongoing AML frameworks
• Support conduct risk management and the embedding of regulatory standards and accountability frameworks
• Monitor regulatory developments and support regulatory reporting, audits and inspections
• Carry out compliance monitoring reviews and track remediation actions
• Provide day-to-day compliance advice to underwriting, claims and other business areas
• Support compliance policies, training initiatives and new business or product activity

Skills & Experience

• Experience with in insurance, ideally in the Lloyd’s or London market
• Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and Lloyd’s rules
• Practical experience with financial crime (specifically sanctions)
• Understanding of conduct risk and customer outcome expectations
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to interpret regulation and provide clear, pragmatic advice
