Chief Financial Officer

A highly successful Private Equity backed Consumer businesses with a superb brand profile, a sizeable turnover and superb profitability is seeking to hire a CFO. Our client is hiring a broad CFO reporting to the CEO to lead with breadth in responsibilities across Finance and other areas. This opportunity for you will be as an integral board member and take the company to their next exit.

As the CFO, you will be the key partner to the board and be responsible for leading finance as well as working with non-finance to drive the business growth. You will lead the function with a depth of skill and experience. They will need someone who is effective business partnering with non-finance Heads of Department, driving revenue and margin. This will be a varied role where you will be involved in financial control, operational strategy, business cases for new openings and act as a trusted partner at the hip to the COO and CEO.

The role will also be involved in IT, legal, Property and Procurement. This role will have significant interaction with the board and investors with a sizeable team underneath you.

The candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and will be comfortable working in a dynamic and commercial environment. The successful candidate will have a successful track record in leadership roles in a fast paced business. Candidates must have multi-site experience – retail, leisure, hospitality. The role would be paying a strong six figure basic salary plus bonus, benefits and equity. The job opportunity is based in central London (zone
