Accounts Assistant

Full Time Office Based Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the finance team within a bespoke travel management company. The role has a strong focus on accounts receivable, credit control, and commission tracking, and is integral to maintaining healthy cash flow and building strong customer relationships.

• Raise and issue customer invoices
• Maintain accurate customer account records
• Record and allocate customer payments
• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up for payment
• Prepare and send statements and collection correspondence
• Conduct credit checks and customer credit reviews
• Negotiate payment plans and resolve payment queries
• Track, invoice, and reconcile commission income
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations
• Prepare ageing and receivables reports
• Liaise with sales teams, finance colleagues, and external agencies

• Minimum 2 years of travel industry experience (essential)
• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Good knowledge of hotel commission processes
• Experience with Sage (preferred but not essential)
• Familiarity with Protas (mid-office system) (preferred but not essential)
• FULL TIME IN OFFICE
