A fast-growing, private equity–backed creative agency delivering high-profile events is seeking an Interim Financial Controller to lead its UK finance function. The role focuses on embedding strong financial control, improving governance, and delivering robust reporting within a complex, project-led environment.

• Lead UK & Ireland financial control across multiple legal entities
• Establish and embed best-in-class financial controls, processes, and reporting
• Own month-end close, management accounts, statutory reporting, and audit processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Oversee working capital, capex tracking, and compliance
• Partner with senior leadership to provide clear financial insight and cost control
• Manage and develop a finance team of up to 10 professionals

• Proven Financial Controller experience in PE-backed and/or project-led businesses
• Strong technical accounting expertise with a hands‑on approach
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and improve finance rigour in fast‑paced environments
