In-house Tax Manager - FTC - Part-time

A rare opportunity for an Employment Tax Manager to join the in‑house tax team of a well known organisation. This is a 12‑14 month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. This role offers genuine flexibility, ideal for someone looking to make an impact while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.

You’ll be the go‑to advisor for all employment tax matters, including:

• PSA and P11D reporting
• Advising on termination payments
• IR35 assessments and guidance
• Payroll and NMW queries
• CIS compliance support
• Conducting risk and control reviews for SAO obligations
• Supporting implementation of payrolling Benefits‑in‑Kind
• Liaising with HMRC and external advisors
• Providing employment tax input on M&A projects

To succeed, you will need:

• Extensive experience in a broad range of UK employment taxes issues
• Knowledge of HMRC audits, disclosures and settlements
• Strong communication skills to decode complex tax technical matters
• Ability to start late February–mid March
• Ability to travel to London and elsewhere approximately every other week
