Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Northwest London, who are looking to appoint a Tax Senior to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take the next step in their career within a supportive practice environment, offering exposure to a varied client portfolio and genuine scope for progression.

As Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a mixed tax workload, working closely with clients and senior colleagues to deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services.

• Preparing and reviewing personal and corporate tax returns.
• Managing a portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
• Supporting tax planning and advisory projects.
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
• Assisting with mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice.

• Previous experience working in a UK accountancy practice in a tax-focused role.
• Studying towards or qualified in ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge across personal and/or corporate tax.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
• The ability to manage deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.
